id:rc was contracted by the World Bank to conduct a landscape/supply and demand analysis of childcare services in Jordan; in order to better inform policy reforms around a number of childcare legislation and the design of a childcare model that supports female employment and enhances early childhood development.
The focus of this assessment is the childcare services catering to children below the age of 5, usually referred to as nurseries, and are licensed by the Ministry of Social Development.
