The id:rc was just contracted by the Aqaba Development Corporation to implement a comprehensive audit and assessment of KPI’s related to port operations and the efficiency of the operator managing the terminal.  The assignment also assesses how the operator is complying with targets set out early in the contractual process with ADC according to the Joint Development Agreement.

This consultancy will assist the ADC better understand how well the operator is meeting their targets and complying wit the contract conditions.  It will also reveal if there are areas of improvement that would help increase the port productivity and efficiency even more, which would have positive impacts on trade facilitation and economic growth in Aqaba and Jordan.  The works will be carried out through detailed reviews of available data, supplemented with field investigations of select operations and processes in the container terminal.
