Working with Gargour Shipping Company (TGF), the id:rc is undertaking an assessment that aims to study the opportunity to develop a commercially managed logistics hub for e-commerce and e-logistics in addition to an entrepreneur business of digital economy at a preferred location in Jordan with a focus on Aqaba. The assessment will review the current legislations and the sufficiency of the current infrastructure and logistics supply chain. It will also review the FTA’S signed by Jordan that would be applicable for doing e-commerce business in Jordan, and identify best practices in the e-commerce, and perform a benchmarking analysis including tax and duties incentives. A business model for establishing e-commerce and e-logistics in Jordan will be prepared as part of the study.
