After 10 years since our last engagement in Central Asia, the id:rc was just awarded a contract by the Islamic Development Bank for the preparation of the feasibility study and the project documents for the “Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project in the Jalal-Abad Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Project aims to provide sustainable access to clean drinking water and sanitation services for remote rural population in Jalal Abad province, and will be executed by the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), under the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWSS).
With the Islamic Development Bank aiming to fund the implementation of the Project, the id:rc’s assignment aims to addresses gaps of information and to validate the feasibility of the project by developing a comprehensive feasibility study and project design report. This will include undertaking all necessary due-diligence and analysis, verification/ validation of report and preparation of additional sections.
